Doggies Waiting for Forever Homes – Part 1

I had the pleasure of revisiting some of my favorite pals at The Pet Rescue Center again. I would like to introduce each of them to you because I figure you all might be just as interested in hearing their stories as I am. Please meet:

MOE (likes to be called Mojie) – Male American Bulldog:

Hi! I’m Moe, otherwise known as Mojie! I’m a 5-year-old American Bulldog. I was rescued by a wonderful lady named “B” I had been dumped by my owner and was on death row at the OC Shelter! When this very special lady found out about my situation, well, she went right down to that shelter and she saved me. You see, this lady had been a friend of my human family for all of my life: she has known me since I was 8 weeks old, and she just could not bear the idea that I had been dumped!

She worked very hard and finally found safety for me at the Pet Rescue Center! I’ve been a little banged up by life, but I am a great boy. I LOVE to go for walks, I sit on command, I take treats with great manners, and I respond very quickly to directions. The Pet Rescue Center’s trainer assessed me and said that I am an exceptionally intelligent boy. I am a good boy, a cute boy, and a deserving boy. “B” and the PRC have given me a second chance at life, and I’m hoping to get a family who loves me as much as I will love them.

DAISY – Female Lab Retriever Mix:

Hello, I’m Daisy! I am a gorgeous 10 month old Lab/Pit Mix. My family wasn’t able to take care of me anymore, and so I ended up at the shelter. As you can see, I’m a very pretty girl. My eyes match my coat. What you can’t see from my photos is what a well-trained doggie I am.

I know my name; I sit without treats; I walk on a leash. I know how to “drop it” and “leave it” and “wait!” I’m a motivated walker with good manners. BUT, my best trick is with a tennis ball! I jump through the air like an acrobat to catch one. It’s quite a sight to see, so check out my video to see my skills.

I am very smart and have too much energy to be in boarding. If you want a fun, interested, motivated member of your family, then please email Paige and come see me!

CLYDE – Male Boxer:

My name is Clyde and I would LOVE to be your forever boy! I was dumped on CHRISTMAS day at the pound :( Luckily, some awesome rescuers came together and saved me. I definitely was a house dog before I was abandoned! I love to go for walks, I know how to sit on command, and I know how to jump into the back of an SUV for a car ride!!!!

I am absolutely GORGEOUS…just take a look at my face and you’ll see! I am a little wiggle butt: when I’m happy, I wiggle my little tail and my whole backside moves from side to side. It’s super cute!

Please consider adopting me. I deserve a wonderful family and I will be oh, so appreciative if that’s YOU! :)

DEXTER – Tibetian Terrier/Cairn Terrier Mix:

Hi! I’m Dexter, a cute Tibetan terrier mix. I was saved from a Southern California shelter by the Pet Rescue Center. I am very, very outgoing, and that is how I stood out …I wiggled and wagged my tail and my cute, scruffy face just wouldn’t stop smiling.

I’m a happy, affectionate boy. I love to be snuggled! I’d be great for someone who wants a doggie with lots of personality who will bring lots of joy to the house…in a small, furry package. My bubbly personality is infectious. Come meet me and see if you agree!

MONTY – Male Lab/Boxer Mix:

Hi! I’m Montgomery, but all my friends call me Monty! I’m a Black Labrador Retriever. I’m about a year old, and just as lovable as can be. When Paige brought me back to the PRC from the shelter, I was so happy that my tail went, “thump, thump, thump” against the sides of my crate for the entire car ride. I was so afraid at the shelter, what with all the smells and the loud noises and the cold (the shelter is outside) that they had to carry me out! Obviously, I was some lucky person’s pet, because I am so outgoing and so affectionate and so happy to see people. If you are looking for a sweet and beautiful Black Lab boy, then I’m your guy! Email paige@thepetrescuecenter.org to come and meet me!
